Res·to·ra·tion

The dictionary definition of “restoration,” is to return something back to its original condition, but the biblical definition of the word has even greater connotations. The biblical meaning of the word “restoration” is to receive back more than has been lost to the point where the final state is greater than the original condition. This means that someone or something can be restored and grow beyond measure.

1 Peter 5:10: “And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.”
